Is There Any Doubt About the Existence of God?

You might think that God doesn’t exist without religion.
But the truth is that God exists without any religion.
Even if every religion disappeared tomorrow, the reality of God’s existence would remain untouched.
In fact, it’s not just difficult to deny God’s existence, it’s actually impossible.

The harder you try to prove there is no God, the stronger His existence becomes.
It’s like trying to disprove your own consciousness, as in the more you think about it, the more undeniable it becomes.
The very act of reasoning presumes order, logic, and intention, and that leads you right back to a Creator.

In this post, we’ll explore why there can only be One God, and why no other possibility makes sense.

1. Infinity Cannot Exist in Reality

  • In mathematics, we can talk about infinity as a concept.
  • But in existence, infinity cannot be completed or crossed.
  • So the universe cannot be built on infinite causes, and the chain must end at a First Cause.

We exist → So the causal chain must be finite → There must be a First, uncaused Origin.

2. If the Multiverse Exists, It Still Needs a Creator

  • Suppose there are trillions of universes. That’s just a bigger system.
  • But the question remains. So, Why does a system that creates universes exist?
  • Why not a system that creates cows, or sand, or just emptiness?
  • The existence of a mechanism capable of producing universes is itself a sign of intentionality.

Complexity → Structure → Laws → Calibration → Points to Willful Design

3. If the Multiverse Doesn’t Exist, Then What?

  • Then our one universe still contains a finely-tuned, life-sustaining system.
  • Stars, gravity, DNA, physics constants…
  • Our universe didn’t need to exist. But it does.
  • And it exists in a way that allows consciousness, morality, and intelligence.

Why this specific system? Why anything at all, rather than nothing?

4. Was the Creator Unaware? Did He Create Without Will?

  • An unaware force does not design. It just reacts or operates randomly.
  • But our universe is not random. It is filled with purpose, function, balance, and intentional laws.
  • Consciousness and intelligence cannot emerge from a blind force.

The First Cause must have Will.
Will requires Consciousness.
Consciousness implies Intelligence.

Thus:
The First is not just a force, rather, He is Al-‘Aleem (All-Knowing), Al-Hakeem (All-Wise), and Al-Qadir (All-Powerful).

5. The Quran Anticipates This Entire Argument

“Were they created by nothing? Or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain.”
— Surah At-Tur (52:35-36)

This single verse collapses all false possibilities:

  • Created from nothing → irrational
  • Created themselves → impossible
  • Created all else → disproven
  • Still in doubt? → reflect deeper.

Conclusion:

Whether you believe in one universe or a trillion, they are still systems, and systems are not self-creating.
They come from Will.
Will comes from Intelligence.
Intelligence requires Awareness.
And Perfect Intelligence is Allah, the Exalted.

Why There Can’t Be More Than One God

1. Only One Will Rules All

Let’s suppose, for the sake of argument, that there were 10 gods.
Right now, I’m moving my right arm up and down. Before I moved it, I intended to. Then the motion happened. It’s as simple as that.

Now here’s the question:
Did all 10 gods agree with this action?
If even one of them disagreed, the action wouldn’t have occurred, or it would have failed mid-motion.
Yet here it is: motion, cause, effect, all of them perfectly executed.

This proves that everything functions under one unified Will.
The laws of biology, physics, time, and motion operate harmoniously, with no contradiction.
That means there cannot be multiple conflicting Wills.

One system. One design. One God.

2. Who Told You There’s More Than One?

Ask yourself this: Why would you even consider the idea of more than one God?
Who told you that? Where did that belief come from?

If someone told you, then who told them?
And what evidence did they have for it, was it a feeling? a voice? a book?

Even if a book claimed multiple gods, how do you verify it?
Truth must align with reality, logic, and reason, and not a blind tradition.
If a book claims that 3, 10, or 1,000 gods exist, but nothing in the real world reflects that, the claim collapses.

Throw away every book that contradicts reality.
Truth does not need permission from tradition, as it stands on its own.

What if Each Universe Has Its Own God?

Some might ask:

“What if there are many gods, and each god controls their own universe, with their own laws and their own creation? Maybe we just happen to live in the one created by our God.”

At first glance, it sounds clever, but this argument quickly collapses under logic and reason.

1. This is Imagination, Not Proof

The idea of “gods with separate universes” is pure speculation with no evidence, no revelation, and no rational foundation.

  • You can imagine anything.
  • But what can’t be proven, tested, or observed is irrelevant.

If it’s not part of our reality, it doesn’t matter to our lives, or our accountability.

2. We Can’t Be Judged for Unknown Realms

Even if another universe existed, with a different god, it has nothing to do with us.

We only answer for the system we live in, and the God who governs it.

So the only question that matters is:
Who created this universe?
Who controls this system?
Who sustains our lives, our morality, our death and afterlife?

The answer must be that there is only One single, undeniable God.

3. This Universe Runs on One Law

Everything in our universe is built on a unified system:

  • One set of physical laws
  • One direction of time
  • One biological code
  • One rational and moral compass

There is no sign of conflicting powers, divided wills, or clashing systems.

The idea that other gods created other realities changes nothing about the truth of this one:
This system is unified → It has one source → It points to One God.

4. If Multiple Gods Existed, There Would Be War

Power cannot remain divided forever.

  • If there were multiple gods, even in different universes, they would eventually collide.
  • Absolute beings do not stay in their lane, they dominate.

And when power collides, there is only one outcome, and that is conquest.

So the final result would be:
One God overpowering all others
One Will remaining
One Creator over all creation

And since we exist, and our system is fully intact, that means:

No conflict occurred
One Will governs all
There is and has always been Only One God

Thus, there is no god but the God

The Quran confirms this:

“If there had been in them (the heavens and the earth) other gods besides Allah, they would have both been ruined. So exalted is Allah, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.”
— Surah Al-Anbiya (21:22)
